Leicester Jobs Fund employer grants of £3,500

Our Leicester Jobs Fund grant supports you to create new apprenticeships and work placements for people from disadvantaged groups. These individuals must be between the age of 16 to 65 and must be residents of Leicester or Leicestershire.

We assist employers with recruiting to the jobs; however the employer always makes the final decision on employing an eligible candidate. We offer:

Additional grant

Businesses with a work force of 25 employees or less, may also be able to obtain an additional grant of £500 from the Department of Work and Pensions, if they recruit an individual for 16 hours or more who has a health condition, or disability and also in receipt of Employment Support Allowance.

A fast track to Access to Work (funding for work place adaptions/support if you are disabled or have a health condition) is available to reinforce and encourage retention.
