Electronic Technician with Multi-Medix

Multi-Medix is seeking an enthusiastic electronic engineer to join our team to service and repair diagnostic ultrasound systems and parts.  We are proud of our can-do culture and the position will particularly suit engineers who can operate on their own initiative in a fast paced and varied environment and of course, also have a can-do attitude.

The ability to safely disassemble and reassemble complex devices, fault find to component level and correctly interpret technical literature are essential, however no existing ultrasound knowledge is required - training will be provided to the right person.  Most work is undertaken in our facility in Leicestershire, a degree of client site-based work is required.

Whilst this role will suit a Biomed looking for a new challenge, we welcome applications from all candidates who believe they can successfully fit into our team – if this is you, we look forward to hearing from you.

Multi-Medix is a growing business, providing independent specialist diagnostic ultrasound services provider, helping hospitals and businesses globally to reduce costs, without compromising quality.  Our brands, Multi-Medix and Advanced Ultrasound Electronics, provides ultrasound probes, probe repair, parts, parts repair, technical support, training and QA.

Essential Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Relevant electromechanical qualification (HNC or higher) or significant relevant experience.
2. Experience in a ‘hands-on’ electronic test and repair technical capacity.
3. Experience in use of IT systems.

Salary: £27K to £37K, depending upon experience and interview.
