The Youth Guarantee is the government’s commitment to ensure that every young person aged 16 to 24 has the support and opportunities to get into work or education.
Youth Jobs Grant
Employer incentive worth £3,000 to employers who recruit young people aged 18-24 across GB who have been on Universal Credit for six months, delivered from June 2026.
Apprenticeship Incentives
Incentives of:
£1,000 for employers who hire apprentices aged 16-18.
£2,000 for SMEs who hire apprentices aged 16-24.
£2,000 for employers who hire foundation apprentices aged 16-21.
DWP Work Experience
DWP is looking for employers to host work experience placements.
There is no cost to the employer, DWP meets any costs incurred. Placements can be from 2 to 8 weeks, 25 to 30 hours per week.
