There's more to come

As we begin rolling out Connect to Work across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, our goal is to offer the highest quality support to everyone who wants to get involved.

To ensure we deliver this effectively, we’re taking a phased approach and expanding the service over the next few months. This means that, initially, some individuals or areas may not receive the full level of support straight away.

We’re working hard to reach every community, and we expect to have the full offer of support in place soon.

Employing people with a learning disability

With the right support, and if placed in a suitable role, people with a learning disability can perform exceptionally well.

Many people with a learning disability are fit to work, can do a job well, and can be just as productive at work as anyone else.

People with a learning disability can also be loyal and dedicated employees, reducing your staff turnover - and having them on the team can help to improve staff morale.
