Run in partnership with Leicester City Council, the Skills Bootcamp in Sustainability & Environmental Management course is led by charities PECT and Change Agents UK.

The 10-week Skills Bootcamp course combines the skills and knowledge from the IEMA Foundation to Environmental Management course, the popular Carbon Literacy programme, and the Sustainability Leadership Skills programme, meaning learners can walk away with three course certificates to help kickstart or continue their careers in sustainability.

As well as supporting job seekers, the course assists those already in work to advance their careers in an economy where sustainability and carbon literacy are essential for success in a competitive environment.

Course: Skills Bootcamp Sustainability & Environmental Management Level 3

Course: Level 2 Sustainable Land Management Skills

This hands-on, 12-week course is designed to equip individuals with essential practical skills and knowledge for a career in the land management sector, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Covering key areas such as health and safety, machinery operation, habitat and forestry management, and regenerative agriculture, students will develop confidence in working with chainsaws, tractors, brush cutters, and more, while also learning critical digital tools like mapping software and social media for the land-based sector. With a focus on decarbonizing agriculture, sustainable forestry, and practical estate skills such as fencing and hedge laying, this course prepares participants to thrive in a rapidly changing environmental landscape. Upon completion, learners will be ready to pursue employment in farming, forestry, environmental management, or related fields, while contributing to a greener future.

Course: AgriSkills Accelerator Bootcamp

The 'AgriSkills Accelerator Bootcamp: Enhancing Farming Excellence' is your gateway to mastering the essential skills needed in today's farming industry.

In just four weeks, you'll gain hands-on experience and earn valuable 'tickets' or certifications in areas like safe pesticide application, animal welfare in transport, and emergency farm first aid, making you a standout candidate in the agricultural sector.

Course: SolarPro Bootcamp

The SolarPro Bootcamp is a four-week intensive bootcamp designed to equip you with essential skills for a career in solar PV installation and technology.

You will gain hands-on skills and technical know-how to install, maintain, and understand solar photovoltaic systems. From the basics of solar energy to advanced installation techniques, you'll learn on real-life simulated setups, ensuring you're job-ready from day one.
